Comments: Interesting to see so many ex-Ferryhillians, or are we known as `Wearsiders?` I've lived in Blackpool for almost 20 years and will always hold Ferryhill as special being born and raised there and an active member of St. Luke's Parish church starting as a pupil in Sunday School and licenced as Reader in 1984. All lapsed now. It would be great to hear from other natives of Ferrhyhill and keep in touch?

Comments: Relatives of mine lived in Ferryhill and I would love to get in touch with any of their descendants. My great grandmother was Grace Crossman, wife of John. Her daughter, Lilian, married a Charlie Foster and they lived in Dean Bank. As far as I know they had four children...John, Ernie, Charlie and Grace. I understand at least two of the boys may now be dead but they probably had children, are any relatives still in Ferryhill or can anyone give me any information on the family please? Many thanks.

Comments: Wonderful to be able to be kept up to date with events 'up home', such as the new Memorial Garden, without having to spend an hour on the telephone once a week. Keep up the good work.
